« Etirements faciles » : un site et une application iphone
Né de l’association entre Frédérique Schricke, masseur-kinésithérapeute à Cambrai et kiné de l’équipe de France d’athlétisme, avec Jean-Sébastien Galloo, directeur d’une société qui développe des applications pour iphone, le principe est simple : proposer des étirements simples et efficaces aux sportifs.
L’idée de départ est survenue suite au constat qu’il n’existait pas de plateforme réunissant des exercices d’étirement faciles simples à effectuer pour préparer l’effort. Viennent ensuite les séances de tournage dans l’optique de proposer un support visuel aux conseils apportés ainsi que la mise en place des dispositifs techniques. En ligne depuis le 19 février 2010, l’application compte déjà plus de 5500 téléchargements.
Un outil de prévention à l’égard des sportifs occasionnels comme expérimentés
L’application permet de faire son choix parmi les exercices proposés en fonction du muscle qui sera sollicité ou de la discipline que l’on s’apprête à pratiquer. A l’heure actuelle 2 disciplines sont disponibles, à savoir la course à pied et le ski. L’objectif étant d’étoffer le catalogue (3 nouveaux sports en cours de préparation et disponibles d’ici avril) et de rendre l’expérience plus interactive en faisant participer les utilisateurs.
La co-fondatrice Frédérique Schricke tient à préciser qu’il ne s’agit ici nullement de court-circuiter le travail des kinésithérapeutes : « Dans cette application, nous sommes dans la prévention, pas dans le soin. Ce n’est pas un site concurrent à la kinésithérapie, c’est un travail en amont, un autre aspect de notre métier qui est la prévention à travers un support ouvert au grand public. » On parle donc bien ici de prévention liée à la pratique, trop courante malheureusement, du sport sans étirements. Un grand nombre de pépins tels que les déchirures et autres courbatures pourraient ainsi être évitées.
